PERINATAL MENTAL HEALTH
Having a new baby. Being pregnant or waiting for your new baby. Trying to conceive. The perinatal period (from pre-conception through the first year of life) can bring an abundance of joy.
Just as often, this season can bring unexpected challenges – to pregnant and postpartum parents, to those who experience loss or infertility, and to parents who adopt.
You may struggle with depression, anxiety, anger, grief, guilt, scary thoughts, relationship problems, sexuality and body image issues, or trauma.
You are not alone.
Whatever you are experiencing, your mental health and wellbeing matter. I have extensive training and experience in perinatal mental health and am a certified perinatal provider through Postpartum Support International.
I offer individual and family psychotherapy, as well as group support, and can provide consultation and referral as needed.
I am deeply committed to helping you feel supported, seen, and heard as you navigate this phase of life.
